After much discussion, the administration at Hartford Seminary has decided to close the bookstore, as of June 30. We are not alone: Other Seminaries have closed their bookstores and the number of independent bookstores is dwindling due to the pressures of the marketplace.

Starting Monday, we will offer all books and merchandise at 50 percent off, in a special sale. To take advantage of this sale, select the books you want to purchase and then call Sharon Burt, bookstore manager, at 860.509.9527 or write to her at sburt@hartsem.edu to place your orders. The bookstore hours will be Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

All sales will be final, and there won’t be special orders or gift cards.
